Good morning people who cherish the human gifts that come from God
I was just thanking God for my wonderful wife Sally, and as I said the words “She is a gift of God”, I had a moment of deeper revelation.
Naturally speaking, if we received a gift from someone we greatly admired and respected, we would cherish and value the gift, not just because of what the gift is, but because of who gave it to us. This in no way diminishes the gift, in fact, quite the opposite – it heightens and deepens our feelings about the gift because of who gave it to us.
My wife is a gift from God. I think she is amazing and so special, but today I want to acknowledge and verbalise that she is from God, and this is what makes her most special.
Oh thank You Father for giving me such a precious gift!
My daughters are also a gift from God. They are treasures in Father’s eyes, and He has given them to me to love them and cherish them as He does.
Today I want to remind us all to cherish, value, honour and esteem the gifts Father has given us – the gifts that come in the form of human relationships.
May we see people through Father’s eyes and love them with Father’s love.
