Good morning people who are transformed by the God of hope

Romans 15:13 NIV May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Joy and peace come to us when the God of hope fills our lives. We can’t get true joy and peace apart from God.

One of the overflows of this joy and peace that comes from the God of hope is, we are filled with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Let me try and explain what I am feeling here.

We take on the nature and character of the God of hope that is filling our lives. Wonderful!

But it is not as we try and try and try harder. No! It is by the power of the Holy Spirit!

True and lasting spiritual transformation is a work of the Holy Spirit, and it happens best when we are looking at the marvellous, wonderful and delight of Who God is, not at how far we have got to go!
