Good morning people who never give up

Luke 8:15 NIV But the seed on good soil stands for those with a noble and good heart, who hear the word, retain it, and by persevering produce a crop.

Persevering is part of the Believer’s life.

Yes, John 15:5 tells us that we produce fruit from abiding. We read this and talk about ‘abiding and not striving’, but this does not mean ‘not persevering’.

James 1:3-4 talks about ‘the testing of our faith producing perseverance’, and it also says ‘perseverance needs to finish its work if we are going to be mature and complete, not lacking anything’.

The need to persevere is not evidence that we are off-track. In fact, often it could be argued that it is evidence that we are on-track.

Yet the truth is, people who are off-track and people who are on-track need to persevere. Every person will need to persevere in life – every person.

So today I pray you’ll understand, If you are moving forward in God, you will often need to persevere. Keep going my friend – there is fruitfulness assigned to you.
