Good morning people who do what they say

Psalm 15:1-2, 4 NIV Lord, who may dwell in Your sacred tent? Who may live on Your holy mountain? The one whose walk is blameless, who does what is righteous, who speaks the truth from their heart;…who despises a vile person but honours those who fear the Lord; who keeps an oath even when it hurts, and does not change their mind.

Your integrity matters.

Saying one thing and doing another lacks integrity.

The challenging thing is, this is not just when it is intentional or from bad or manipulative motives.

It is also when we forget and get too busy or get distracted. Now, this can happen with us all from time to time, but when this becomes a habit, it shows a lack of integrity.

Our word matters.

What we say we will do, we should do. If you say you will call someone, call them. If you say you will catch-up with someone, catch-up with them. If you say you are going to pass something on to someone, pass it on. 

We need to be careful what we say. We should mean what we say. We should do what we say.
