Good morning people who are students of God’s Word

Yesterday we said that ‘doing good’ is not enough – we need to do ‘what God has asked us to do’.

God doesn’t make it difficult for us to know His will.

Firstly, He has made His will clear in His Word.

2 Timothy 3:16-17 NIV All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.

Now He has not given specifics instructions concerning every decision that you need to make, but He has clearly given a principle that will bring clarity to every decision.

It is so important to understand that ‘God is not the Author of confusion’ (1 Corinthians 14:33). He does not try to make it difficult.

“How much do you know God’s Word? How much time do you spend reading it, meditating on it and memorising it?”

For many of you today, ‘getting into God’s Word’ and ‘getting God’s Word into you’ will bring clarity to many decisions you will need to make.
