Good morning people who partner with God to see the breakthrough

Psalm 18:3 NIV I called to the Lord, who is worthy of praise, and I have been saved from my enemies.

We will try and save ourselves from our enemies, or we will call upon the Lord and let Him save us.

Now, I’m learning increasingly that there are two sides to our victory.

Yes, we need to persevere and overcome the attacks of the enemy. Yes, we need to believe the truth of what God says and not the lies of the enemy. Yes, we need to walk with the armour of God on. Yes, we need to fight principalities and powers and cast down thoughts that elevate themselves against the knowledge of God. We have a part to play in being saved from our enemies.

But our best without God is useless.

We need to start, continue and end with calling on the Lord. We can’t fight spiritual battles and overcome without a deep dependence on and confidence in God. The actual truth is, God saves us from our enemies. Yes, we have a part to play, but God does the supernatural part that results in victory and freedom.

It’s time to call on the Lord and to do our part…but let’s keep the focus in the right place.
