Good morning people who do everything that God tells says to do

Genesis 6:19-22 NIV 19 You (God speaking to Noah) are to bring into the ark two of all living creatures, male and female, to keep them alive with you. 20 Two of every kind of bird, of every kind of animal and of every kind of creature that moves along the ground will come to you to be kept alive 21 You are to take every kind of food that is to be eaten and store it away as food for you and for them.” 22 Noah did everything just as God commanded him.

Sometimes we listen to and obey God on the ‘big picture’ or ‘overall direction’ of something, but then we do what we want or what we feel with the details.

Now there are times when God tells us to do something, and then He instructs us to step forward and start moving without much (or any) clarity. This is an incredible part of the faith journey that, in one way or another, we will all go on.

But there are other times when God wants to give the ‘big picture’ and the details.

And so my challenge to us all today is this:

“Are we asking God what He wants us to do ‘overall’ and with the ‘details’?”

“Are we fully and quickly obeying what He has said?”
