Good morning people who don’t throw away their confidence in God

1 Samuel 1:20 NIV So in the course of time Hannah became pregnant and gave birth to a son. She named him Samuel, saying, “Because I asked the Lord for him.”

Hannah asked the Lord for a son, yet she didn’t become pregnant straight away.

On my journey with God, I have noticed that sometimes God answers our prayers straight away, yet at other times He answers ‘in the course of time’.

I really wish God would answer some of my prayers more quickly (can I be honest here). I’m sure you do as well. And I think that’s OK – I’m sure Father understands this.

So, desiring a quick response is understandable and OK with God, but the test is when the response takes longer than we want or than we think it should.

Now, here’s what I felt Father ask me:  “How is your trust in Me (God) in the waiting?”

And then there’s the times that Father answers differently than we think He should.

“Do we trust God and His perfect ways?”
