Good morning people who accept God’s invitation to remain in Him

John 15:4 NIV Remain in Me (Jesus), as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in Me.

I want to highlight the wonderful privilege, in fact, a privilege that is beyond our ability to comprehend the magnitude of the privilege, and that is: Jesus chooses to remain in us!

I have made some bad decisions as a follower of Jesus Christ. There have been moments when, if I were God, I would have left. My sinfulness has been ugly to me – I can’t imagine what a perfect God feels.

Yet He chooses to remain in me! WOW!

And this delightful beyond measure God invites me to remain in Him!

I don’t get any sense of obligation or legalism here – not at all. All I see is the greatest invitation conceivable, and that is, God Almighty is inviting me to stay close to Him and walk as intimate friends.

This is what I choose in 2017.
