Good morning people who live life as a sign-post to our good, good Father
Luke 12:1-3 (NIV) 1 Meanwhile, when a crowd of many thousands had gathered, so that they were trampling on one another, Jesus began to speak first to His disciples, saying: “Be on your guard against the yeast of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy. 2 There is nothing concealed that will not be disclosed, or hidden that will not be made known. 3 What you have said in the dark will be heard in the daylight, and what you have whispered in the ear in the inner rooms will be proclaimed from the roofs.
Hypocrisy is a killer in the church. While every person needs to take responsibility for their own decisions and the choices they have made, I know of too many people who have seen hypocrisy and have stepped back from both God and Church. Again, people are responsible for their decisions, but hypocrisy does not help.
There is a need for transparent and authentic Christians; people who are the same in private as they are in public.
There is a need for transparent and authentic Christians; people who honour God and honour people in their speech, life, love, faith and purity (1 Timothy 4:12).
“Are you such a Christian? Does your life point people towards the Father?”
