#3019 – Wisdom and Grace

Good morning people who want to honour Father with the words they speak

Luke 2:40 (NIV) And the child grew and became strong; He was filled with wisdom, and the grace of God was on Him.

I have a simple prayer today, and that is, may the people of God be filled with the wisdom and grace of God.

May the people of God know when to speak and what to say. Not every discussion, debate, point of view or argument should be entered into. God doesn’t need us to take up the sword and start swiping at people who express different opinions to us.

I am not going soft on sin (anyone who knows me knows that’s never going to happen), but the longer I walk with Father, the more I realise He wants the Holy Spirit’s kindness to lead people to repentance – not my best and most persuasive words.

So may we walk in the wisdom and grace of God. May we ask Father for it as He loves to give it freely (James 1:5-8).

“Do you keep silent when Father says ‘Don’t say anything?’”
