#3004 – Not Intolerant

Good morning people who are of God and of His righteous standards

Prophetic people love the truth and hate iniquity.

About Jesus, it was written:

Hebrews 1:8-9 (NIV) 8 But about the Son He (the Father) says, “Your throne, O God, will last for ever and ever; a scepter of justice will be the scepter of Your kingdom. 9 You have loved righteousness and hated wickedness; therefore God, Your God, has set You above Your companions by anointing You with the oil of joy.”

We live in a time when people have confused what justice looks like. Justice is not saying “it doesn’t matter how you live”, and people who believe that God’s stated standard of righteousness is still God’s standard of righteousness are not intolerant – they are biblical.

It’s time for the people of God to be people of God. We are not called to live by the world’s standard, but by God’s standards.

Yet truly prophetic people will have a wonderful mix of truth and grace, so much so that people who are truly searching will step towards the Father as the result of an interaction with us. Jesus didn’t condemn sincere people, but nor did He condone sinful behaviour.

Prophetic people love the truth and hate iniquity.

That’s what the Bible says and it’s what Jesus modelled.
