Good morning people who make prayer a priority of their lives

Nehemiah 4:16 (NIV) From that day on, half of my men did the work, while the other half were equipped with spears, shields, bows and armour. The officers posted themselves behind all the people of Judah.

I like the ratio of workers to warriors I see here: 50 / 50.

Now what is a ‘warrior’? It is one who fights on behalf of another.

What is an ‘intercessor’? It is one who fights on behalf of another.

Interesting.

I believe it’s time for there to be an equal amount of people praying as there is working. I believe it’s time for prayer to get as much focus, time and attention as working. Prayer and intercession is not to be an occasional exercise or a sprinkling on top of the main thing. It must be 24/7.

1 Thessalonians 5:17 (NIV) Pray continually.
