Good morning people who anticipate greater things in 2014

As people of God enter a new year, they want to know what God is saying and His prophetic intention for the year. As you listen, you may hear many people say many things. I don’t believe that they are conflicting words or that everyone is in confusion. Rather I believe it is an expression of a God Who does not limit Himself to one level or one thought, but Who is able to speak to many people about many things all at the same time. This is one thing I absolutely love about our incredible God.

So with the New Year only a few days away, I want to encourage you to ask God what His thoughts are for 2014.

For some of you, this is a new concept. That’s OK. Don’t let it sound different than it is. It is not some weird spooky thing, but rather one friend (you) asking another Friend (God) what His plans are and His thoughts are for the New Year.

For some of you, my encouragement is not to default to previous ways of thinking. Sometimes we can fill in the blanks by ourselves. But I believe God wants to show you something new, something different, something powerful, something eternal.

Isaiah 43:19 (NIV) See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.

So my friends (and God’s friends) why not take some time with God and listen for a while. I encourage you to jot down what He says. I believe what He says to you will be an anchor for you in 2014.
