Good morning people who enter deeply into fellowship with the Spirit of Wisdom.
Father has told me to write from the Book of Proverbs in February, March and April, so that’s what I’ll do.
Proverbs is a profoundly insightful book of the Bible. It is a book of wisdom, and it continually parallels wise people and foolish people. It is often confronting, and it leaves no place to hide. It is a book that is desperately needed in the times that we live in.
But it is absolutely imperative that we start in the right place, and the right place is ALWAYS GOD. Please let the following verses be our launching pad for a deep dive into God and His wisdom.
Proverbs 1:2 MEV To know wisdom and instruction, to perceive the words of understanding.
Ephesians 1:17 NIV I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better.
God is the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, and ‘to know wisdom’ is to know God.
God is wisdom!
To separate wisdom from God is like separating a fish from water – it will quickly die. And yet this is far too often what people do. Disaster and calamity are the results.
It’s time to come back to wisdom by coming back to the Spirit of wisdom and revelation.
It’s time to return to an earnest hunger for knowing God Himself, not just knowing wisdom and instruction.
God Himself is always the prize that we chase after.
“We want to know You more God; we want to know the Spirit of wisdom and revelation.”
