Good morning people who open the door for people to step into the kindness of God.
Philippians 4:5 NIV Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near.
Jesus lived a life marked by gentleness to those who needed an encounter with the heart of the Father. To people lost in sin and shame, the gentleness of God led them to repentance.
And this is the point I want to highlight clearly today: Our gentleness will prove to many that the Lord is near. Don’t miss this profound truth today dear friends.
I remember the time the Lord said to me, “Your love, not your lectures, will win them over.”
One of the expressions of true divine love is the gentleness of God. I want the responses of my life to be evidence to people that God is near. I’m sure this is your desire too. Therefore, we must become wiser in how we respond.
One of the ways this happens best is to sincerely think about other people more than ourselves. It’s easier said than done, but by the grace and power of the Holy Spirit, it’s not only possible for the children of God, it’s required. Selfless living is Christ-like living.
I declare: This is a year of reclaiming the gentleness of God as the first response of our lives and our lips.
May this year be marked by many people stepping through the doorway of our lives into the heart of the Father. May Jesus be seen and heard through us all. And may it all be for the glory of God.
