Good morning people who let God take you into the deep riches of His love for you.

Ephesians 3:17b-19 NIV …And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.

After Paul writes to people who know the love of God, he pens the words ‘and to know this love that surpasses knowledge’.

The word surpasses means to throw beyond the usual mark. It literally means surplus and exceeding. It is not the normal amount.

There is nothing limited or lacking about our God, and this includes His infinite love!

The word knowledge means knowing. This is not a mental ascent or the ability to simply state facts. Spiritual knowing is so much more than this.

In fact, natural knowledge is often the enemy to spiritually knowing. Learning our way into truth is not God’s desire. Intimately stepping into deeper truth through divine revelation is God’s way. The natural mind cannot know the things of God!

And so the invitation and desire of God for you today – yes, you – is to step beyond your present level of knowledge about God, and to step more deeply into a level and layer of God’s love that you have never known or experienced before. It sounds too good to be true, but the truth is, it is too good and it is absolutely true!
