Good morning people who pass through the doorway of knowing God. 

Ephesians 3:17b-19 NIV …And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.

Oh, so rich!

Once saved, we are not to go on to simply doing religious duties. We must guard against a mindset that in any way says, “I know God, therefore everything is fine as it is.” No! Our introduction to God and our acceptance of Him as the only way is the doorway through which we enter into the eternal mystery of deepening intimacy God through revelation of God!

Paul is writing to people who have been ‘rooted and established in love’. You would think that is enough. After all, if you have God, then you have God. Right?

Yes, absolutely! But there is always more to discover and enter into of God Himself!

The power of God is given to us so that we may grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ. We need God’s power to know God more! If we are going to grasp – to lay hold of – the limitless extent of God’s love, then we are going to need God’s help to let go of every restriction, hinderance and limitation to this. We need God’s help!

Paul further follows this up by praying that the believers would ‘know this love that surpasses knowledge’.
