Good morning people who are children of the light of the Lord God Almighty.

John 3:19-21 NIV “This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but people loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that their deeds will be exposed. But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what they have done has been done in the sight of God.”

I will never stop pointing us back to the truth that God is the God of light.

Genesis 1:3-4 NIV And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. God saw that the light was good, and he separated the light from the darkness.

From the beginning, there was a God-designed separation of light from darkness, and there was a declaration that light is good.

John 1:4-5 NIV In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.

Nothing is stronger than light, especially the light of Jesus Christ! He came as the light, and all those who come to the light will be saved. Life is found only in the light.  

We cannot live for self and live in the light at the same time. We have a choice: self or light. And if we choose self, then we choose darkness. If we choose darkness, we choose separation and condemnation, and this is never God’s desire for any person.

Living in the light means living in relationship with God and in harmony with God’s Word. There is no higher authority or more convenient way. Jesus is the only way, the only truth, and the only life, and all of this is found in the light.
