Good morning people who actively anticipate answers to the prayers that you pray.

What is the point of praying if we don’t actually believe that they will be answered by God?

Now, we do not come to God demanding from Him what we want. This is not the purpose or right focus for prayer.

But when God has already declared what His will is in His Word, do we truly believe that when we pray, it will be done according to God’s Word and according to God’s faithfulness?

Let’s lean into the words of Jesus that we read yesterday:

Mark 11:24 NIV “Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.”

I am on a journey with this as much as you are. I need my faith to be enlarged. I need to step into a deeper dimension of believing God.

And one of the ways that I do this is to believe that I have received what I have prayed for before I see the miracle.

This is not ‘blab it and grab it.’ This is faith! And faith both pleases God and it sees answers to prayers!

I want to be a believing believer.
