Good morning people who live by truth and not by facts.

Facts determine how we live.

A fact is ‘a thing that is known or proved to be true.’ Facts are based on evidence, and you can’t argue with evidence.

We can’t just jump off a very high platform and wish away the fact of gravity. It doesn’t work.

We can’t step out on a lake and try to ignore the fact that we can’t walk on water. I don’t even know how this works, but we all know that this is an undeniable fact.

We can’t sow apple seeds and produce an orange tree from those seeds. Again, it’s just not going to happen.

But Jesus!

It is imperative that we keep in mind that all facts that are centred around natural laws are subject to the authority of God. Remember, God created these laws that we are talking about!

There will not be many reasons in our lives for us to go against these facts. That said, as we consider the greatness of our God, it is good to know that He is greater than facts!

Matthew 14:25 NIV Shortly before dawn Jesus went out to them, walking on the lake.

Luke 24:31 NIV Then their eyes were opened and they recognized him (Jesus), and he disappeared from their sight.

Luke 24:51 NIV While he (Jesus) was blessing them, he left them and was taken up into heaven.

Facts are not insurmountable to God!
