Good morning people who believe the truth that is written in God’s Word.

When you get mail, it contains information about something. Mail is addressed to us, therefore, we open it and read it.

The devil – the slanderer, accuser and defamer – sends mail to God’s children. But we don’t have to open it or read it!

Here’s what Father said to me recently:

“Get use to saying return to sender when the enemy comes against you. Replace this mail with “It is written!””

He then went on to say the following:

“Every enemy is a manifestation of the enemy. So, when fear, anxiety, worry, condemnation, guilt or shame try to attack you, recognise it as the enemy trying to get your attention on him, not on Me (God). Those things are weapons he uses, they are not the actual enemy; the devil is the enemy! I (God) am worthy of your time, the devil is not!”

We must remember that the devil is called the father of lies.

John 8:44 NIV You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies.

Even when the devil highlights a factual reality about something that we have done, he does so from the starting position of being a liar. He doesn’t stick to truth at all. He states the fact, and then he tries to lead us away from a focus on God and on His goodness, grace and mercy.

God loves you! God likes you! God celebrates you! God is for you!

Any mail that says otherwise is not worth opening.
