Good morning people who refuse to only stay dead to sin.

Colossians 3:1-2 NIV Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things.

The Word of God is so rich, powerful and wonderful! I pray you are being blessed as we step our way through the Book of Colossians.

I want to lean into this one little statement today: You have been raised with Christ.

Yes, it is true that we died to sin – and I say praise God for this. The power of sin has been broken and the devil has been defeated. The old self was crucified with Christ. This is all true and this is all powerful.

But it doesn’t stop with the old being dead!

We have also been raised with Christ. As He is no longer in the tomb, so too are we no longer in the tomb! Oh this is so important.

It’s not enough to be dead to sin – we are called to be alive to Christ!

This means that we are now fully alive in Jesus Christ! Oh the wonderful and magnificence of being raised with our Lord and Saviour, King Jesus!

This is our position in Him!
