Good morning people who grow up in Christ and put away childish things.

Colossians 1:28-29 NIV He is the one we proclaim, admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone fully mature in Christ. To this end I strenuously contend with all the energy Christ so powerfully works in me.

Jesus is the message. Admonishing and teaching is the method. Fully mature is the measurement.

Length of time saved should equal a maturity to match. This is not a push for perfectionism – this is something that needs to be broken and removed from many people’s lives. But we must ensure we are aiming for the right thing and measuring maturity by the right thing.

Numbers in church is not a correct measurement of maturity. The length of time that someone has been a Christian is not a correct measurement. The amount of followers or likes on social media most definitely is not a correct measurement.

The amount of scriptures someone can quote is not a correct measurement of maturity. The length of time someone prays is not a correct measurement. The brilliance of someone’s spiritual gift is most definitely not a correct measurement.

Maturity is the only correct measurement.

So, what is spiritual maturity?
