Good morning people who walk in humility before God and people

1 Peter 5:6 NIV Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time.

The kingdom of God is not about self promotion. It is about the rule and reign of Jesus Christ, and it is clearly seen in the lives of God’s sons and daughters who walk in submission to His authority.

Humility is not weakness. Humility is about having the right perspective of God, and then living according to this revelation.

Humility is not about seeking our own advantage. Godly people live to honour God and to be a blessing to people.

Here’s a great question that reflects the state of our hearts:

Is our desire for us to be seen and promoted, or for God to be seen and for Him to be glorified?
