Good morning people who choose the narrow path that leads to a spacious life

Many people are looking for an easier way. It doesn’t exist.

An elite athlete who wants to receive the prize knows that there is not an easier way.

A realism painter who wants to capture the true essence and nature of something knows that the process will not be quick.

A master builder who delivers what the owner has requested knows that there are no shortcuts.

Yet as Christians, we want and even demand an easier way, a quicker way, and a shortcut to what God has promised. Microwave Christianity does not exist.

True spiritual maturity comes from continual perseverance in the right direction.

James 1:2-4 NIV Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.

Today it’s time to reset to perseverance, and to lifting our eyes to the prize, and to the God who promised to walk every step with us.
