#4422 – Face God

Good morning people who run towards God in times of trouble

Jeremiah 32:32-33 NIV The people of Israel and Judah have provoked me by all the evil they have done—they, their kings and officials, their priests and prophets, the people of Judah and those living in Jerusalem. They turned their backs to me and not their faces; though I taught them again and again, they would not listen or respond to discipline.”

Do you turn your back to God or your face to God?

In times when we can see the blessing of God and we are seeing answers to our prayers, it’s easy to turn our face to God in thanksgiving. When we feel good, when we are doing good and when people are doing good to us, it’s easy to turn our face to God in gratitude.

It’s a different story when we are struggling, when we want something different than what God wants for us, or when God is disciplining us because we have gotten off track.

Yet these are the times that we equally need to turn our faces to God.

I have an encouragement for you today: Regardless of what is happening in your life right now, run towards God, not away from Him; turn your face to God and not your back.
