Good morning people who understand that we are developed through tests

I feel Father wants us to step through the account of when God told Abraham to sacrifice Isaac.

Obviously on the surface, we know that this is a story of holding nothing back.

But as we step through it, I believe Father will highlight what a ‘holding nothing back’ type of person looks like.

Genesis 22:1-18 NIV 1 Some time later God tested Abraham. He said to him, “Abraham!” “Here I am,” he replied.

‘Holding nothing back’ requires an understanding that some tests are given to prove us, not to destroy us.

If we don’t understand this, then we won’t trust God in these times. If we don’t trust God, we will hold back due to fear.

Jesus Himself was led into the wilderness by the Spirit to be tested. It didn’t destroy Him, but rather it developed His spiritual authority.

Don’t fear the testing of God.

Ask Father to help you honour Him through it by holding nothing back.
