Good morning people who are active in your pursuit of God

Proverbs 2:1-5 NIV My son, if you accept my words and store up my commands within you, turning your ear to wisdom and applying your heart to understanding— indeed, if you call out for insight and cry aloud for understanding, and if you look for it as for silver and search for it as for hidden treasure, then you will understand the fear of the Lord and find the knowledge of God.

This scripture talks about ‘understanding the fear of the Lord and finding the knowledge of God’.

This is an essential need in the life of every Believer.

But it doesn’t come from being complacent or lukewarm.

Look at the words used here to articulate our posture and pursuit of God’s wisdom and His knowledge:

‘accept, store up, turning your ear, applying your heart, call out, cry aloud, look for it, search for it’

A casual approach to God will never produce the godly life that we desire and that God requires.

“Are you pursuing God and the things that are important to Him?”
