Good morning people who are indescribably loved by God

Psalm 37:4-6 NIV Take delight in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord; trust in Him and He will do this: He will make your righteous reward shine like the dawn, your vindication like the noonday sun.

The ways that we commit to the Lord will only result in the reward and fruit that He promises, if the desire for those ways originated from God, not from us.

God is not obligated or even interested in fulfilling our desires that are birthed from self. This is not because He is not interested in us, but because He is interested in us!

God knows us better than we know ourselves, and He knows that, left to our own desires, we cannot step into the fulfilment of what He has promised.

So, go back to the beginning of this scripture: If you want the reward and the fulfilment, delight in the Lord and let Him place His desires into your heart.
