#3731 – Sowing & Reaping

Good morning people who make wise decisions and enjoy the results

Psalm 7:15-16 NIV Whoever digs a hole and scoops it out falls into the pit they have made. The trouble they cause recoils on them; their violence comes down on their own heads.

These verses don’t sound pleasant, and maybe not even very BIY-ish. But it is important that we receive the full counsel of the Word of God.

Father wants to remind us all today about the decisions we make and the results of those decisions. He wants us to consider the unchangeable principle of sowing and reaping.

Sometimes we trip over and fall into a pit, then we blame others, and yet at times, it can be ourselves who have dug the hole. Obviously, this is not always the case and I do not want to be insensitive to some very difficult situations that some of you find yourself in due to the poor decisions of others.

But for some of us, this is not the case, and Father wants to encourage us forward today by speaking the truth of sowing and reaping. This is not to condemn, but to empower us to make healthy choices, and as a result, to enjoy healthy outcomes.

“Are there some different decisions that Father wants you to make today so that you can enjoy better outcomes?”
