Good morning people who run to God for what you need
Psalm 5:11 NIV But let all who take refuge in You be glad; let them ever sing for joy. Spread Your protection over them, that those who love Your name may rejoice in You.
The word ‘refuge’ here means: ‘to flee for protection, to put trust in God’.
“Who do you run to and put your trust in when things are difficult?”
Often we run to the wrong places. Yet in this verse, we are encouraged to run to God.
And then I notice the result: gladness, joy and rejoicing.
I’m reminded again that these are not found in the absence of difficulty, but in the presence of God.
Today, I also want to say that these are found under the protection of God. God is Who you need, and God has what you need.
Flee to God – not just from danger and difficulty.
