#3620 – God Always Listens

Good morning people who don’t judge what God is doing by what you see

As I sit and meditate on God’s Word, I am aware of the multi-faceted nature of your reality and of mine. This could easily lead to being overwhelmed with what to say and what to write.

It’s in this place that I feel Father encouraging me to simply meditate and write what I feel He is showing me. I don’t need to get it all right, nor do I need to cover every possible angle of thought, argument or reality you might have.

And I wonder if this itself is the lesson for us all today. We don’t need to have it all worked out before we come to God.

Jonah 2:1-2 NIV From inside the fish Jonah prayed to the Lord his God. He said: “In my distress I called to the Lord, and He answered me. From deep in the realm of the dead I called for help, and You listened to my cry.”

Jonah was a mess and he was in a very terrible place because of his actions. Yet he called out to God. This is great, but the better part is that God answered him, and God listened to his cry for help.

The same is true for you and I today.

Don’t let your present reality keep you from talking to your present God. He is with you and He is listening to your words and your heart.

You don’t have to have it sorted out – you just need to cry out to God.

You don’t need to get the words right – you just need to have your position right; and that is, towards God.
