Good morning people who don’t live life by incorrect equations

We all live life by equations – some are right, and some are wrong.

Here’s a wrong equation that Father is highlighting to me very clearly today from His Word.

Following Jesus = ease of life.

Let’s look at what God’s Word says:

John 16:33 NIV I (Jesus) have told you these things, so that in Me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.

As a follower of Jesus Christ, I believe that a right Biblical equation that is spoken about and evidenced by living examples time and time again, is this:

Following Jesus = trouble in life.

You might be thinking that this is not a very encouraging BIY. But you are too precious to Father and too important to me, for me to speak anything other than what the Word says.

But let me now give you some good news that is wrapped in another right equation:

Following Jesus = peace in Life.

“So, which one is it Steve – it can’t be both?”

PRAISE GOD – it is both!
