Good morning people who are not mastered by anything other than Christ

1 Peter 5:8 NIV Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.

1 Corinthians 6:12 NIV “I have the right to do anything,” you say—but not everything is beneficial. “I have the right to do anything”—but I will not be mastered by anything.”

“Are you in control, or is something controlling you?”

For some, this is the wrong question, because the nature of some things that control people (addictions) is, people don’t think that they are addicted or that there is a problem.

If others say you have a problem with something, and you say you don’t, you are probably wrong.

And the reason I am mentioning this is, the very thing you deny can often be the very thing the enemy uses to keep you trapped and in slavery.

This is why humility is one of the doors to lasting freedom.

I know you desire to be free and to walk in freedom, and therefore today, I pray the Holy Spirit brings revelation to you of any ways the enemy is winning in your life.

Galatians 5:1 NIV It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.
