#3535 – Waiting on God

Good morning people who remain in God at all times and in all circumstances

John 15:5 NIV I (Jesus) am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in Me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from Me you can do nothing.

Today I feel Father is drawing me to the words ‘waiting’, ‘leaning in’ and ‘fruit’. Let’s see what He wants to show us.

Abiding IN CHRIST is synonymous with waiting.

This waiting it not us waiting for God to do something. God is never inactive; He is always working in us and for us.

This waiting is us remaining IN CHRIST and with Christ, at all times.

When we see God is working, we wait on Him – and when we see no evidence of God working, we wait on Him.

When we feel God, we wait on Him – and when we don’t feel God, we wait on Him.

When things are going wonderful, we wait on Him – and when things are at ‘rock bottom’, we wait on Him.

Waiting on God – abiding, remaining, walking with God – is not dependent upon anything except our legal position of being IN CHRIST.
