Good morning people whose conversations point people to God’s goodness

Colossians 4:5-6 NIV Be wise in the way you act toward outsiders; make the most of every opportunity. Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone.

This is a really important verse for Christians to observe and act on.

If we are not careful, we will too easily become irrelevant to those who don’t yet know Christ. We can too easily separate ourselves, and we can too easily talk language that makes no sense to unbelievers.

Jesus modelled perfectly His ability to bridge the gap between His Father and those who were far off. He did so without any compromise, but also without any clichés.

This passage instructs us to have grace saturating every conversation. In other words, make it about God’s unbelievably amazing goodness.

Let’s look at this a little more tomorrow.
