Good morning people who are filled with the Spirit of the Living God

Thank You Father for the gift of the Holy Spirit.

Jesus changed history; He lived a sinless life, He died a cruel death and He rose again, defeating and defying sin, the grave and death!

Yet Jesus had to return to the right hand of the Father. But before He did, oh there was the glorious promise of the Holy Spirit; a priceless gift from our Father!

Jesus said:

John 14:16-17 NIV And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Advocate to help you and be with you forever— the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept Him, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him. But you know Him, for He lives with you and will be in you.

Jesus walked with people – the Holy Spirit lives in people! (1 Corinthians 6:19)

The Holy Spirit is our Advocate, our Counsellor, our Encourager, our Empowerer, our Provider…and He lives in us!

Father, I pray that we will all become more aware today of the precious Holy Spirit Who lives in us. May we honour His holiness and enjoy His presence. May He lead us as we set our hearts to follow Him. May we be empowered and encouraged today by the Holy Spirit. Amen.
