Good morning people who do not live under law

Galatians 5:18 (NIV) But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.

This does not mean that if you are led by the Spirit, you can do what you want and you can live a sinful life because you are not under law! Not at all! Some “Christians” live ungodly lives under the guise of “not being under law”. But the key part of this verse is ‘being led by the Spirit’.

Those who live by the Spirit of God and are led by Him, are more like Jesus because the Holy Spirit is doing a good work in them! A Spirit led Christian is more godly than a self-righteous Christian. The fruit of the Spirit in our lives is much longer lasting than the fruit of our self-will and best intentions.

We will live either under law or under grace, but never both. Living under law will always result in bondage. Living under grace will always result in freedom.
