Good morning people who live like Jesus because of what Father has given

Like in the story of ‘The Prodigal Son’, our Father has given us everything that He has. WOW!

Romans 8:17a (NIV) Now if we are children, then we are heirs—heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ…

An ‘heir’ is ‘someone who receives an inheritance’ (something given but not earned). Everything we have need of, Father has given – not ‘will give’ us – has given!

In fact, everything Father gave to Jesus when He lived a sinless and perfectly pleasing life on earth, He has given to us!!! A ‘co-heir’ is ‘a participant in common’.

The more we have a revelation of Who Jesus is and the fullness of Him living in every part of us all the time, the more we will realise the fullness of His power to live godly lives:

2 Peter 1:3 (NIV) His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of Him Who called us by His own glory and goodness.

For today, let me finish by pointing our attention to the extent of love Father has for us:
