Good morning people who are filled with the Holy Spirit

In the same way that we are filled with Christ and have our sufficiency in Him, we are filled to overflowing with the Holy Spirit also! As we read these following verses, I want to remind us that ‘filled’ means ‘no room for more’.

Ephesians 5:18 (NIV) Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit.

Acts 4:31 (NIV) After they prayed, the place where they were meeting was shaken. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the word of God boldly.

WOW!!!

Now the Bible tells us in 1 John 4:17 that ‘in this world we are like Jesus’. What Father gave to Jesus, He has given to us. Now let’s read the following verse in this context:

John 3:34 (NIV) For the one whom God has sent speaks the words of God, for God gives the Spirit without limit

WOW!!! WOW!!! WOW!!!

Again, we so often pray for more of the Holy Spirit, but the truth is, God has given Him to us without limit. Being filled with the Holy Spirit means ‘filled with the Holy Spirit’.
