Good morning people who trust the God Whose ways are perfect

‘The timing of God is just as important as the will of God.’

This statement is constantly going through my mind. I know I have mentioned this before, but I feel compelled to mention it again.

God has a plan. It is a good plan. A perfect plan. A pleasing plan. It is a plan that is for our best. God is a Good God.

The ‘will of God’ is the ‘what’ – the ‘timing of God’ is the ‘when’.

God has spoken to many of you about some things He wants you to do. This is wonderful. You know it is God, but it has not yet happened. At times you may even question, “Have I heard right?”

Today I want to encourage you: God has perfect timing.

Habakkuk 2:3 (NIV) For the revelation awaits an appointed time; it speaks of the end and will not prove false. Though it linger, wait for it; it will certainly come and will not delay.

I am drawn towards the statement, ‘an appointed time’. God always know what He is doing and when He is doing it.

With the ‘timing of God’, I feel to say two things to you today:

Firstly, if the will of God is not happening, wisdom requires you to ask, “Does God want me to do something so that the will of God can happen?” If so, we need to do our part.

Secondly, if we are doing all that God requires us to do, relax in the good news that God works on a different time frame to us. His ways are perfect, and so is His timing.
