Good morning people who trust God fully always

Luke 1:31-38 (NIV) “You will conceive and give birth to a son, and you are to call Him Jesus. He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David, and He will reign over Jacob’s descendants forever; His kingdom will never end.” “How will this be,” Mary asked the angel, “since I am a virgin?” The angel answered, “The Holy Spirit will come on you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the Holy One to be born will be called the Son of God. Even Elizabeth your relative is going to have a child in her old age, and she who was said to be unable to conceive is in her sixth month. For no word from God will ever fail.” “I am the Lord’s servant,” Mary answered. “May your word to me be fulfilled.” Then the angel left her.

This is incredible!!! Mary is told she is going to give birth to the Son of the Most High God, He will be given the throne of David and His kingdom will never end!

Mary’s response is unbelievable!!! Her only question is “How will this be since I am a virgin.” WHAT THE?!?! Is that the only question she has after that statement?!?!

Then the angel Gabriel tells her, “Easy – the Holy Spirit will come on you and impregnate you.” To which Mary basically said, “If you say so, fair enough.”

I’m not sure I have seen greater trust in God!!!

Have a look at her cousin Elizabeth’s comment to Mary when she saw her:

Luke 1:45 (NIV) “Blessed is she who has believed that the Lord would fulfil His promises to her!”

“Will we be ones who quickly and fully believe what God says to us this year – regardless of the impossible nature of what He says?”
