Good morning people who seek to know Father through Jesus Christ

Throughout generations, people have wanted to know what God is really like. People seek an explanation through many different objects, philosophies and reasoning.

But the Bible clearly tells us how we can best know what Father is like. This is what it says:

Hebrews 1:3a (NIV) The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of His being, sustaining all things by His powerful word…

Jesus Christ is the exact representation of Father; He’s not similar to Father – He’s the exact representation. Jesus Christ was the image of God on this earth.

Look what was said in a conversation between Jesus and Philip:

John 14:8-9 (NIV) Philip said, “Lord, show us the Father and that will be enough for us.” Jesus answered: “Don’t you know Me, Philip, even after I have been among you such a long time? Anyone who has seen Me has seen the Father. How can you say, ‘Show us the Father’?

So this year my friends, let’s look through fresh eyes at the life of Jesus. Let’s not primarily look at Jesus’ life in order to see how we should live, but let’s discover first and foremost what Father is like. 

I pray through our study of Jesus, we will all know Father more. This is my prayer for you.
