Good morning ambassadors of Jesus Christ,

Acts 12:24 But the word of God continued to spread and flourish.

Do you know how this happens?

The word of God spreads as Christians live lives that accurately reflect and reveal the God they follow.

Billy Graham once said, “We are the Bibles the world is reading”.

As I’ve said many times, “People look at us and say, ‘Ah, that’s what God is like'”.

This year I want to lay down a simple, yet profoundly life-changing, challenge to every one of us: Let’s be the Bible that the world needs to read.

Now before you run out and start trying harder, I want to remind you of what I have been talking about for a couple of years.

The greatest transformation of our lives comes from a shift back to our primary purpose; knowing God more and loving Him with everything. The focus here is on receiving ongoing new revelation of what God is like. We primarily discover this in His Word…but we must look for Him there.

We honestly do become like what we behold.

Therefore, the more we behold God – the more we seek after Him and discover Him on deeper levels – the more we will become like Him. It’s not so much about trying as it is about discovering.

This year, let’s keep in mind that in every situation, we are the Bible the world is reading.

I want them to read the gospel accurately from my life.
