Good morning people who live in freedom,

I am so grateful to God that He has given me the power to choose.

At times, this obviously works to my disadvantage – but not because I have the power to choose, but rather because I chose to make the wrong choice. I’m not talking semantics here, this is helpful to consider today.

I fully believe, in fact I’m convinced, that I can always choose to make the right choice.

Other people can choose to do the wrong thing to me, but I always choose my response. I can be tempted to the point where I don’t feel I can do the right thing, but I can always choose the way of escape that God has provided to me.

And the power to make the right godly choice comes from the wonderful Holy Spirit Who lives in those who accept Jesus as their Lord and Saviour.

Therefore today I choose to make the right choice.

This is liberating! This is empowering! This is freeing!

I choose to speak life with my words! I choose to honour my wife and family with my actions! I choose to represent God well by the choices I make! I choose relationship with God over momentary sinful pleasure! I choose to be a source of joy and blessing to all I speak to!

I choose to make the right godly choice in every situation; I choose to serve the Lord.

Joshua 24:15 If serving the Lord seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord.
