Good morning people with a God-given mission

A little while back, God highlighted nine things to be mindful of in fulfilling our mission. These points are taken from Exodus 3 when God met with Moses and spoke to him about delivering Israel from Egypt (no easy task!). I encourage you to read the whole chapter.

I feel God wants me to share these nine points with you as we all seek to walk with a sense of purpose and fulfil all that God has called us to do.

Point number one: In your difficult times, keep meeting with God.

Exodus 3:1 Now Moses was tending the flock of Jethro his father-in-law, the priest of Midian, and he led the flock to the far side of the desert and came to Horeb, the mountain of God.

Here we find Moses in the far side of the desert. A desert is a place of barrenness and difficulty. And if that’s not bad enough, he’s on the far side of it!

It’s also important to note, Moses finds himself living in the desert because he murdered an Egyptian and ran away in fear of his life. Again, not really great circumstances!
