Good morning people who believe in God’s power
Do you believe that Jesus healed people when He was alive?
Do you believe that Jesus passed the ability to heal the sick on to His disciples?
Do you believe that Jesus has passed the ability to heal the sick on to us today?
Acts 9:32-35 As Peter travelled about the country, he went to visit the saints in Lydda. There he found a man named Aeneas, a paralytic who had been bedridden for eight years. “Aeneas,” Peter said to him, “Jesus Christ heals you. Get up and take care of your mat.” Immediately Aeneas got up. All those who lived in Lydda and Sharon saw him and turned to the Lord.
Our God desires to heal people, yes even people with long standing physical complaints, yes even today, yes even through you and through me.
But here’s the truth: a greater level of belief in a life-changing God, through us, needs to be awakened in the life of most Believers.
Many believe God can heal but are not sure if He will or if He wants to. He does.
But God also desires to see miracles happen through us – His delegated authority here on earth.
Mark 16:15-20 He (Jesus) said to them (the disciples), “Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned. And these signs will accompany those who believe: In My name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues; they will pick up snakes with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well.” After the Lord Jesus had spoken to them, He was taken up into heaven and He sat at the right hand of God. Then the disciples went out and preached everywhere, and the Lord worked with them and confirmed His word by the signs that accompanied it.
Sometimes we wait for God to do what He has given to us to do.
