Good morning people hungry for more of God

There will never be a day where you know all there is to know about God, not only in this lifetime but for all eternity.

Once we pass from this earthly life into the glorious eternal inheritance that God has for us, we will be in God’s very presence for ever and ever and ever and ever and ever…you get the idea – for a very long time!

And I want to tell you that even in eternity to come – as best as we can grasp this concept with our finite minds – we will still be discovering new things about God. I’m not sure you got what I was just saying. There will never be a time when we know all there is to know about God; never, ever.

But we can know more about God today than we did yesterday. And tomorrow we can know more about God than we do today. And the day after that we can know more about God than we will know tomorrow…and in a million years into eternity we can know more about God than we do in a thousand years into eternity. And in a billion years into eternity we can know more about God than we do in a million years into eternity…you get the idea…we’re going to live for a very long time!

But how much more do you know about God than you did yesterday…or last month…or last year?

The first and greatest command is to love God with ALL our heart, soul, mind and strength. We cannot love what we do not know. The more we know the more love can grow.

Your greatest desire should not be to become like Jesus, to change your life, to be a nicer person or to just survive life. God’s greatest desire for you is a deepening love relationship with Him. He’s smart because He knows EVERYTHING flows out of this.

Jeremiah 29:13 if you seek Me you will find Me, if you seek Me with all your heart.
