Good morning people who know God’s peace
(By David McCracken)
Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.
Environment matters! But for you as a Christian, what is it that creates the environment that we breathe into our hearts and minds, that environment which influences our spiritual growth and our quality of life?
Is it possible that we ourselves create that environment, which we then breathe into our hearts and minds, which then determines our quality of life?
I believe it is!
Philippians 4:6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.
Friends, if the past and present reality is one of contradiction, what is it that you are thanking Him for? His Love? Yes. But also, you are thanking Him in anticipation of a breakthrough tomorrow. You are thanking Him IN ADVANCE! Even when there is no evidence of it in the present reality. Hebrews 11:1 calls it faith.
Philippians 4:7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
So the peace of God guards our minds. Peace is the fruit of positive faith-filled anticipation; an anticipation of Father’s faithfulness, His goodness, that He will direct our ways by the Holy Spirit and that our future is secure in our Father’s love.
